Delete your ProSit account

This page explains how to delete your account in ProSit, the app by Netstrada s.r.l., and what happens to your data.

In the app

Your account is deleted immediately.

Write to hello@netstrada.it with the subject “Delete my ProSit account”, and either:

send it from the e-mail address you sign in to ProSit with (the one of your Apple or Google account), or
give us the verified phone number on your account. We may ask you to confirm the request from that number.

We only delete an account once we are sure the request comes from its owner. We delete it within 30 days and reply to you when it is done.

Deleting by e-mail does exactly what the button in the app does:

Your profile — name, photo, birth year, languages, bio — your phone number and your Instagram handle.
Your requests, the tents you follow, your devices’ push tokens, your credit balance and its history, and your purchase records.
Your offers are cancelled. Every guest who had asked for a seat or had been accepted at your table is told, and gets their credit back.
Your own open requests are withdrawn, and seats you had been given are released for someone else.
Reports you filed, and ratings other people gave you.

Ratings you gave to other people stay on their profiles, anonymised: without your name or any link to your account.
Unspent credits are forfeited. They cannot be paid out or moved to another account.
Purchases are not refunded by deleting your account. Apple and Google sold the credits; to ask for a refund, contact them (see Support). Their own records of your purchases are kept by them under their privacy policies.
Our nightly backups are kept for 14 days, so deleted data disappears from them at the latest 14 days after deletion. Server access logs are rotated automatically.
Your Apple or Google account itself is not affected. Anything your counterpart at a table saved on their own phone is outside our control.
